Primary Health Care, the foundation of every health system, obtains a more pivotal role during health emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic. During the first stages of the crisis, school as well as university units across the country ceased all educational activities requiring physical presence, with Medical Schools following suit as well. The reopening of on-site clinical training and teaching started for a group of senior medical students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), who started their on-site internship in Primary Health Care Units (PHC Units) across Greece.
